Overview
As one of the pioneers in manufacturing diesel engines in the country with a heritage of more than 60 years lending to its expertise, TMTL Engines Division envisages growing exponentially in the power generation segment by providing cutting edge technology, best fuel efficiency, and lowest cost of ownership. In 2005, Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE) acquired the tractors, gears, transmission and engines business from Eicher Motors Limited through its wholly owned subsidiary TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL). Along with the plant and machinery, TAFE also acquired the right to use the Eicher Engines brand name for engines up to 60 hp (45 kVA).
